Hindi haiku - jeebh / basho

होठों को जीभ
बाहर धकेलती
मूंछ मुंडन

आग लगा के
जिह्वा तो छुप जाती
पिटे कपाल

कर जाती है
स्वर्ग पाताल एक
काली जुबान

आपा हरती
अपना कर लेती
मीठी जुबान

आग लगा के
जिह्वा तो छुप जाती
पिटे कपाल

जिह्वा हो जाये
जब भी बेलगाम
दुष्परिणाम

रिश्तों के बीच
अनियंत्रित जीभ
कैंची समान

दातों में पिसा
हरी मिर्च का टूक
मुह में बाढ़

चाट खाकर
सी सी करती जीभ
अधिक मिर्च

मिठाई, पर
जिह्वा पर लगाम
मधु का रोगी

गरम चाय
होती मन की जल्दी
जलती जीभ

कोई भी चीज -
जीभ ही परखती
शिशु के हाथ

सुगंध भरे
तितलियों के पंख
फूल पे बैठी

बच्चे ने फ़ेंक
चाँद को नचा दिया
पानी में ढेला


Temple bells die out.
The fragrant blossoms remain.
A perfect evening!

घंटियां बंद 
मंदिर में सुगंध 
सुहानी शाम  

• Won't you come and see
  loneliness? Just one leaf
  from the kiri tree.

अकेलापन
देखो तो ठूंठ वृक्ष
एक ही पत्ता

• Poverty's child -
  he starts to grind the rice,
  and gazes at the moon.

निर्धन बच्ची 
चक्की पीस रही है 
चाँद देखते  

• No blossoms and no moon,
  and he is drinking sake
  all alone!

रस पी रहा  -
न फूल हैं न चाँद 
वही अकेले ! 

• Clouds appear
  and bring to men a chance to rest
  from looking at the moon.

छाये बादल 
चन्द्रमा देखने से 
लोगों की छुट्टी   


• Harvest moon:
  around the pond I wander
  and the night is gone.

चाँद देखते  
तालाब के किनारे 
रात व्यतीत  

• No one travels
  Along this way but I,
  This autumn evening.

कोई न आता
यहाँ शरद शाम को 
मैं अकेला ही

हाइकू की दुनिया में आप के उत्साह से मैं भी शक्तिमान हो गाय हूँ और आप के साथ इस रंगमयी दुनिया का पूरा आनंद पा रहा हूँ. आज मै एक ऐसे कवि का नाम बता रहा हूँ जिसे हाइकू विधा का जनक जाना जाता है. हाँ बाशो (१६४४ से १६९४), बाशो ने सत्रहवीं शताब्दी में जापानी भाषा में हाइकू का चलन प्रारम्भ किया. और आज दुनिया के लगभग सभी भाषाओँ में हाइकू अत्यंत लोकप्रिय काव्य बन गया है. कोई भी हाइकू सीखने वाला गुरु, बाशो के लिखे इस हाइकू से सीखना प्रारम्भ करता है :
 old पोंड / a frog leaps इन /water’s sound  जिसका मैनी हिंदी में हाइकू अनुवाद इस प्रकार किया है 
पुराना ताल / जल की आवाज में /कूदा मेढक 

आज आप बाशो के ही हाइकू को आधार बनाकर अपने हाइकू लिखें और विषय रहेगा चाँद/चन्द्रमा/चन्द्र. चाँद से बाशो को कितना लगाव था यह उनके हाइकू में स्पष्ट झलकता है और चाँद पर तो उन्होंने दर्जनो हाइकू लिखे. चाँद की सुंदरता कितनी अद्भुत व मनमोहक है बाशो के हाइकू पढ़कर जान पड़ता है. उनमे से कुछ का हिंदी हाइकू अनुवाद जो मैंने लिखा है अंग्रेजी में लिखे हाइकू के साथ नीचे दे रहा हूँ. इन्हे पढ़कर आप बाशो के हाइकू के भाव व तकनीक दोनों से परिचित होंगे   .
